Japanese apparel and lifestyle brand Uniqlo will launch its collaborative line with British fashion designer Clare Waight Keller in the Indian market this February. This smart casual men’s and women’s clothing line will add to its product offering in the country.
Designed for everyday life, the new Uniqlo : C collection will launch from February 23, Uniqlo announced in a press release. The collection is priced from Rs 1,490 to Rs 8,900 and will retail from Uniqlo’s exclusive brand outlet in New Delhi, located in Ambience Mall in Vasant Kunj, as well as on its direct to customer e-commerce store for the Indian market.
“In this second collection for Uniqlo : C, I wanted to explore the concept of movement through lightness,” said Clare Waight Keller about her collaboration with the brand in a press release. “Working with ultra-light fabrications, I found a new perspective of proportions. Longer volumes play against cropped silhouettes. Fluidity and freshness were key elements of the spirit. I think that Spring represents a time of transition where the seasons change, and our wardrobes need the same flexibility. I love the mix between tailored and relaxed styles. The feeling is effortlessly elegant with a youthful attitude that captures the lightness and ease of summertime.”
The Uniqlo : C collection features a colour palette of poppy red, blush pink, aqua blue, and army green and garments ranging from light knitwear to handbags to denim among others. The functional pieces are designed to bring to mind the energy of the spring season.
